The Escape 7 Jacket can be used with the Escape 7 John as a two-piece 7mm wetsuit system that is rugged, durable, warm, and economical. Ideal for conditions that require an added layer of insulation in the torso, the Escape 7 contains many of the features found in Pinnacle's top-of-the-line suits. Constructed from 7mm Titanium Lined Neoprene and Internal Smooth-Skin Sealing Surfaces, with Honeycomb O-ring Wrist Seals make this an extremely warm 7mm suit. If Durability is what you are looking for suit has, Melco Rubber Shoulder Pads, Marine Grade Brass Zippers and all Seams are Double-Glued and Blind Stitched with reinforced Stress Disks at all Seam Intersections.

First jacket ordered I used the size chart. Jacket was one size to small. Returned it for the next larger size and it fit well (although just a little "bulky" by the armpits). So I needed a size large john and a size extra large jacket for this combo to work. [...]Also, the zipper is hard to zip up because the neoprene under the zipper gets caught up in the process. Have to keep undoing the zipper and straighten out the neoprene and re-zip.

The sleeves fit so tight that the jacket it is very hard to put on or off. Every time I have to wear it is a struggle.

The sealing flap under the zipper ia almost 1/2" thick. This creates a good size bulge when zipped. Nice warn jacket and seals well.

Dove the suit for the first time this weekend off of Point Loma, CA (May 25th) At 73 feet water temp was just under 50 degrees and I got a bit chilly at the end of the dive, about 45 min. Everyone else was cold too, but I hoped for a little more warmth. But for the price, bit over $200 for the jacket and john, no complaints. Regular diving at 50 degrees probably deserves a drysuit.

decent overall suit very hard to put on the first time but after that its not to bad sizeing chart of top hjalf was little off

I like everything about the suit except I need a lot of lead with this baby to keep neutral. Stays warm down to 50F no problem, so its worth it in cold New England water. Good zippers, comfortable and stiched well.
