Used on a wreck dining trip in St. Lawrence - avg water temp about 62 degrees suit should be good to 58 degrees or so. Solid performer good fit at neck, wrist, ankles - kept me warm with decent flexibility on cold, deep, dives. Added four pounds over my shorty and no buoyancy issues. I'm 6'4 and 290#'s - takes a lot of lead to get me down. Takes some work getting on and off but to be expected. Concur that its as good as a 7mm

This suit keeps you very warm and is very well constructed. If you want a great constructed suit, with the utmost attention to detail, do yourself a favor and buy this suit. At a 5mm size it performs at the level of a 7mm or more. To give this suit a poor review, based upon buoyancy issues, is complete ignorance.

I spend in 20-24C pool a lot of time, the rest in 26C ocean. Put it on and take off at least 3 times, every day. This suit is a life saver. It seals very good, easy tu put on and take off, and you can actually feel the suit warming you up, it feels warm in cold water! Amazing. The only not perfect thing is that the water enters spine area if you swim backwards (don't ask!:) and a perfect fit!

Hard to submerge at start of dive and a rock by the end. You do not know this until used so you cannot return it.
