Brand: Henderson
Located in: Exposure Protection, Wetsuits
The three-fold protection of Henderson's premier quality Trilam can be added to any wetsuit with the addition of this hooded vest. The inner fleece lining is soft against the skin and the slick Lycra exterior makes layering with another suit incredibly easy. The Trilam inner membrane helps keep the body's core warm and helps provide the insulation equivalent of 2mm neoprene. Perhaps best of all, this garment is neutrally buoyant and won't require any extra lead on your weight belt.

Comments about Henderson Henderson Trilam Hooded Vest Mens:

Used the vest in Bonaire this year for 20 dives. Just what I needed to provide that extra warmth in the 79* water. I combined the vest with a 2mil suit and it was perfect even on dive as long as 100+ minutes. Also a big plus was I only needed 12lbs to keep my 250lbs down... the same as w/o the vest.Excellent product that was just as advertized!!

Comments about Henderson Henderson Trilam Hooded Vest Mens:

This hooded vest provides extra warmth without the bulk. It is great for diving in the tropics during winter or when the dives are long (such as on shallower dives). There is no inherent buoyancy in the material, so you don't have to adjust your weighting.

The one improvement I would like to see is the addition of a hood vent. I recently used this vest as a core warmer underneath a 3 mm wetsuit on two cavern dives where the water temp was in the mid seventies (Fahrenheit). The vest added just the right amount of thermal protection, but some exhaust bubbles from my regulator kept getting trapped in my hood. I had to pull my hood back repeatedly in order to dump the trapped air from it.

Overall, this is a good hooded vest to have.
