These shorts fit fine in the waist but the legs were very loose. If you had larger legs they would be great. I returned them.

I really like these shorts. Great for warm water diving, and would go good under heavier wetsuits. The neoprene is very stretchy for comfort in movement.

I wanted something to wear under my wetsuit that would make it easier to don and doff the wetsuit so I thought about buying a pair of these shorts. They seemed to fit oddly almost like a womens or unisex cut short. Then the waist band was an elastic cord where the excess would gather there in front similar to how you tie a bathing suit waist cord. That would have left a strange bumpy looking area there under your wetsuit. So I returned the second pair I ordered because it was too big in the rear (the first was a size too large) and opted to just go with the bathing suit.
