Microprene is an ultra thin, stretch neoprene that is superior as a base layer, but is also a good choice for any tropical environment. It boasts the same basic characteristics as thicker cuts of neoprene, providing outstanding insulating ability relativeto its size and a high level of elasticity for a flexible fit. Wearing Microprene under a thicker wetsuit is like super-charging your exposure gear. My suit was great: perfect weight for Carribean 80-85 degree water temp. My wife is tiny and the Henderson size 4 came pretty close to her size, though she's 5'0" and thought it was just a little long for her in the torso.

I mainly use this product for pool training sessions. It also works great as an extra layer under my 7 mil. wet suit for those winter months in the Puget Sound.

Used suit on a dive liveaboard in the Bahamas, it was great. So was the trip.
