I wear it uner a 3 mill long sleeve shorty in 73 deg water. and the zipper allows me to put it on easily.best thing since sliced bread.

I purchased this hooded vest to go with the Insta-Dry 7mm jumpsuit. I've made 3 dives with both so far. The hood was a bit tight going over my head which made it more difficult to take off than to put on. The zipper makes this vest easy to put on and take off (except for the hood). Highly recommended.

I purchased this vest as my primary cold-water hood, as a supplement to my 5mm two-piece suit. I dove this vest in 66 degree water for 40 minutes and stayed very warm. In fact, I barely felt wet where the vest covered me. I reccomend going with the hooded vest rather than a pure hood, because no cold water runs down your back with the vest, plus you get an extra 3mm of warmth on your core. Worth every penny.
