This hooded vest is excellent for colder waters. IT is just not as convenient to take off/on. You want it to be tight & snug though. It's just a big harder to take off. The gold core is excellent.

This is not too hard to put on, and once on it fits very snugly and offers great protection while not being too restrictive with the hood and all. Removing it, however, takes either 5 minutes of contorting with a various techniques or a specially trained assistant. Regardless, I never dive without it and the added comfort is worth it.
