For diving in warm water (i.e. Caribbean, say 82 deg F), this is wonderful. So much simpler than messing with a full wetsuit, but still keeps you plenty warm throughout the dive. Night dives too. If a tee shirt and bathing suit isn't enough to stay warm, this will do the trick.

I used this for a week in the bahamas and never used my full suit. Easy to put on even if the boat is rocking and I was never cold.

A bit pricey, but very well made. I normally wear a 3/2mm long wetsuit; and this vest is great to wear under it when the water is a bit colder than I expected or when I get a chill after the first dive. It effectively adds 5 deg to the comfort range of whatever wetsuit I am wearing. It packs easily and requires little additional weight to offset the extra bouancy. Get one size larger than you normally wear. I normally wear XL wetsuits, but had to exchange to a 2XL for a comfortable fit. Zipper front makes an easy on and off.
