When you need a little more warmth, the 2.5mm Shorty delivers with excellent core-warming capability and an anatomical fit that's easy to swim in. Shorty suit is made from 2.5 mm, nylon II neoprene. Suit has a heavy-duty YKK front zipper. To add to the suits warmth High-stretch Ultra-span neoprene seals on the legs and arms decreases water exchange.

I bought this suit for scuba diving in Bonaire where the water is fairly warm. It was perfect in terms of comfort, warmth, and easy to get on even when wet. I love the front zipper and the divemasters there were not familiar with that! My only problem is that I am a tall woman (5'10) and weigh 145lbs - the men's medium looked like the best fit from the size chart. The medium was too short in the body so I returned it for a men's large and it was fine.

I used this wetsuit on a recent trip to Hawaii. The water temperature was about 77°-78°F. The suit was more than adequate for keeping me warm on my dives.

I am using this shorty for the warmer Caribbean waters in the winter and it is adequate. I would not recommend it for colder climates.
