Although I have never worn anything larger than XL I had a hard time believing the sizing chart that at 6'3" and 230 lbs that I should wear a 3X. When the gear arrived it fit perfectly. Trust the sizing chart!

Great wetsuit. I'll definitely buy more gear from LeisurePro.

This is my first wetsuit and I bought it for winter spearfishing off San Diego's coast. 3MM is all I need, as I typically run a little hot. The wet suit is nice, except for two things: it feels like it's a little short (I'm 5'8", 205lbs and bought an XL) and it chafes at the neck. Maybe my neck's too fat? Anyhoo, it's fine for right now, but I'll keep my eyes open for another fairly inexpensive wet suit that doesn't chafe ma' neck! The quality of the suit is good and I don't expect it to break down any time soon!

This is a quality shorty at a very reasonable price (on sale for [$]). On a recent trip to Belize it extended the amount of time I was able to stay in the water considerably. It did, however, ride up a little causing some mild discomfort. Also, though this may seem obvious, while spearfishing this suit resulted in more buoyancy than was convenient - not really a complaint as I suspect any suit would. The build quality is good and the drying time is a plus.

I purchased this wetsuit basically just to wear while doing light maintenance on the bottom of the boat between haul outs. I purposely ordered a size larger than needed to have it be a little loose and make it extremely easy to get on and off. While it’s understandably a little lose in the chest I was pleased to find that the arms, neck and legs fit snug enough to seal.
I was also pleased with the high quality I received for an excellent price. Price was one of my key deciding points when ordering because basically I’m just abusing this suit under the boat to protect my hide. I didn’t really expect the level of quality that I did get in this suit for the price paid but I'm not complaining about it either.
I will most likely order another one from LeisurePro just like it but appropriately sized to me for diving this summer.
One comment on the slightly negative side for me would be that I’m not overly thrilled with the zipper on the back and the long tether used to pull it up. It’s nothing that would keep me from buying another one like it but after over 30 years of zipper in the front wetsuits it’s seems awkward to me and I really don’t see the value add or functional benefit to a rear zipper.

Great shorty for warmer waters. I was going back and forth between a fullsuit and a shorty, I am glad I picked this shorty as its excellent value and as I have a higher core temperature on average this kept me warm enough while diving in Mexico.

I will be looking into a fullsuit though for when I head to cooler waters.

I got this suit for some sun protection, thermal insulation, and as a first suit for casual use. The shorty design allows good movement when swimming, didn't chafe under extended wearing, and provided light thermal protection. I did cave snorkelling in Bermuda and this was perfect for that, whereas everyone else was cold from the freshwater, I was comfortable. I also did not overheat in the suit in Bermuda's reef shallows in July. Great performance for the value for a rookie!

Ok, so it isn't top of the line, but when comparing the value of this suit to others, it is a fantastic deal. You may get what you pay for, but with this suit your money goes farther. Fit is nice, and back zipper functions easily. I'm a little concerned about the longevity of the material around the neck, but again its a great buy.

I really like everything about this except the bouyancy for diving. It is great for swimming in colder water, excellent for snorkeling (keeps the sun off of your back and allows you to float on the surface without the use of a life jacket), and seems to fit very well. The only con, and it is a big one for divers, is that this shorty is slightly more bouyant than a 3mm full suit. In freshwater I take 16 lbs to stay down in a 3MM full. In this shorty in saltwater, I can't stay on the bottom with 22 lbs when the tank is below 1000 psi at 35 ft. Last week I hauled a 5 lb rock to the surface. The super-bouyancy makes it great for all water activities but diving.

I bought this because I am a physical therapist that does aquatic therapy. I tend to get cold even in warm water fairly quickly. I didn't want to get an expensive suit because the chlorine breaks down and bleaches neoprene. This was my best option and it far exceeded my expectations. As for the fit of the suit, I think it fits true to size. Since I am tall and thin, none of the measurements listed actually matched me and I chose based on the measurements and not height and weight. The suit is pretty tight when new and dry but loosens when wet. The legs tend to ride up a little on me. I have used this in a pool for over 2 months now and it is still in great shape (except for the color). Overall, this is a great suit and you can't beat the price!

I am about 6'5" tall and about 230 lbs, so I wasn't surprised that it was too short.My wife tried the women's version, and she 5'8" / average build. I bought this wetsuit for my trip to Costa Rica. In a regular bathing suit I tend to get chilly after about 20 minutes even though the water temperature is tropical. I was very comfortable even after extended periods in the water. Also, an added bonus, was my skin was saved on several occasions when waves knocked me around the rocky underwater terrain.

I bought this wetsuit for my 12 year old daughter for her first diving trip to the Carribean. Being slender the 3mm throughout the suit kept her comfortable in morning and afternoon dives. Suit now has 20 dives on it and looks brand new.

Bought 2 of these for myself and my son for snorkeling in the Keys during Christmas week, just in case the water was too cool, but water was warm enough so we didn't have to wear the suits. Kept mine anyway as it was such a good sale price, and in case I need it next time. Returned my son's without any problem as he'll probably need a larger size by the next time we go.

Comfortable wet suit. Just wore it in Mexico. The water was 79, and this was plenty. Hung it on a balcony and it dried within a few hours.

Was skeptical because of the low price but it was very well constructed, easy to get in and out of and was plenty warm for dives in 68 degree water. I am 6'4" and 280# and the 3X was a perfect size.
