It sure has been getting cold when diving and you're not sure what you should do. Your hood leaks water around the neck when you turn your head, and your torso gets cold near the end of the dive. Remember layering is the secret to staying warm underwater, if you're getting cold and want to lower your air consumption and prolong you're dives then layering is just what you need to do. This 5mm Nylon 2 Step-In Hooded Vest will increase you bottom time lower you're air consumption and make you toasty underwater. Adding layers to your entire torso and upper legs with an attached hood to eliminate the leaks around the neck is the only way to make coldwater diving comfortable.

I wreck dive in the cooler waters off the coast of VA in depths up to 125'. Sometimes the water temps below the thermocline drop between 45-50 degrees F. I like to layer to keep warm and this vest is definately a great addition to my dive gear. Bare does it right when it comes to quality and fit. The new cross zipper style is extremely easy to get on and off. I would recommend this vest to anyone! Charlie "MR. FLOUNDER" Adams

Easy to get on, easy off, no tucking in a hood!
I use it over my 7mm Bare arctic in 52'f water,
after a 45 minute dive I am still warm! No more
shivering and I get cold easy, zipper on hood is
not noticeable! For the price it's well worth every penny, I will buy another!

How many hooded shorties have u put on that are just too cumbersome to remove? Bare has fixed the problem this time with a front zipper that skews towards one of the leggings. You can put it on or take it off in a tick. Your buddy will love you for it!
