Progressive-stretch is a concept in full-stretch wetsuits only available in the VELOCITY series. It all starts with BARE-Fit, which is the foundation of every BARE suit. BARE-Fit uses ergonomic suit design involving complex shaped patternswith articulated legs and arms. From there, zones associated with performance within the suit are selected. Then, proven fabrics are chosen from various prototypes that have been tested for years. By placing the different fabrics in particular panels of the suit, the VELOCITY series delivers exceptional fit, feel and performance.

This wetsuit is a combination of three material types, each with their own stretch characteristics, which make it really strong and quite flexible. We callthis unique combination of materials PROGRESSIVE STRETCH technology PROGRESSIVE STRETCH technology is the "intelligent use of stretch". This 2mm suit is equipped with all the BARE features such as adjustable sealing collar, flat-seem stitching, GLIDESKIN gaskets on neck, arms and thighs openings to reduce flushing, BARESKIN chest plate will shed water in core area. LUMBARE-X-TENDER, exclusive to BARE, is a unique panel in the lower back which allows the torso to extend, but retracts to stay tight to lower back.The Velocity also has a heavy-duty back zipper with a loop at the base to assistdonning.

Tried this on when it arrived, I am a triathlete looking for a summer suit for swimming my 3000-4000 lenghts in cooler water, This bunches at the neckline when your hands are above your head which would cause lots of unneeded drag. I sent it back and got a full refund from lesure pro, no questions asked. For diving this would be a great suit. It fit well and was easy to put on and take off, but as far as what it does in the water, I can't help you. Most of my friends swim the same as I do, so I wouldn't recommend they buy this

I bought this suit for a two-week, 30-dive trip to Belize in June/July and had no problems with it. Ideally, I need a size 1.5XL as the XL was just a little too tight, especially in the arms, and the 2XL is just a tad long, but otherwise very comfortable and very easy to get on and off. Lots of padding, well-made, quality suit.

Service & Delivery comments:

I had to swap the XL for the 2XL and not surprisingly Leisure Pro was great about it. Just followed the instructions for an authorization number and the transaction was smooth and seamless.
