Several months ago I purchased the 5/3mm version of this suit for a trip to Maui. I was so impressed with it that when I booked a trip to Cozumel earlier this month I decided to toss my 3mm Henderson and order the 3/2mm Bare. Good decision!... It fits better and is more comfortable than ANY suit I have ever owned... And, after 38 years of diving, I have been through many!
At 5' 9" and 190 lbs I find the XLS to be just right!... Bare makes finding the right size easy!

A great weetsuit. I got the XL Tall and it fits perfect. Very easy to put on and off. The zippers on the ankles make it even easier. Dries extremely quick. Stretches easily.

Used this in Cozumel in June 2008. Kept me warm during various drift dives (30-100fsw) and night dive (45fsw) due to excellent fit. Also used in Cenotes for snorkeling (water was 68-70F). Easy to don/doff. Did not get hot while wearing above water. Very nice fit and finish -- quality wetsuit for a decent price. Wife also has this wetsuit (women's model of course) and she loves it. Looks great. Highly recommended. Would buy again if in the market for a 3/2mm.

I really like this suit. After my old suit blew overboard during some heavy winds, I was dreading getting a new suit. I work on a live-aboard and we get 2 hours to ourselves a week, so going out shopping isn't all that feasable.
Looking at many of our guests BARE is a pretty popular suit and everyone I spoke to speaks highly of their BARE suits, now I can see why. Ordering online was a breeze, checked against the size charts, a few keystrokes and clicks and the next time I was in port (1 week) I had a brand new suit. The suit fits me perfectly, it's pretty easy to get on and off and keeps me warm and well insulated. Big Ups to BARE and their sizing charts, which helped me to get the right size, and Leisure Pro for getting it here so quickly.

My old 3mm suit died in Cozumel - it lasted 7 years!! I wanted stretch and this suit has it, I wanted easy to pull on the legs and this suit does that, I wanted a good fit and this suit did that.
I haven't dove with it yet, but it's much more comfortable than my old suit and is an excellent price. The only negative is that the velcro strip on the back will quickly attach itself to anything it can find, making it a bit inconvenient for donning the suit, but I'm pretty certain it will stay closed when in the water LOL!!

Difficulty in donning is related to not being able to adjust the zipper skirting, as the zipper is in the back. No problem if you have a buddy to assist, nearly impossible to straighten the flap to prevent lumps if donning alone.

I used this Bare suit while doing my DM training in FL. I was in the suit and in the water probably 5 hours or more per day and the suit held up great. I used it in the pool, lake, and on the reef in the open ocean. It fits well, is comfortable, and seems to hold up.
I will say I haven't used the suit in water under 84 degrees F so I cant comment on how it does in cooler water, though a 3/2 is suited for warm tropical water.

Nice shin/knee pad design and long ankle zipper for easy access. Easier entry & exit access than Akona, Body Glove, Henderson and Xcel. Great suit fit for a muscular wide upper back, big biceps and lower 16" calf's body frame. If you pump iron, this suit has a better chance to fit. It stretches and holds up where you need it. Unlike the Henderson Hyperstretch this suit has no eatable velcro areas which my velcro chewed right up like old pilled polyester dress pants. Buy this suit! Just go to the Bare website if you have sizing questions. Just remember this site does what no other does. They offer you free size exchange. Just remember to check out the sizing charts on the sites. Good diving!

First BARE suit. Very impressed with quality of materials and workmanship. This suit was extremely comfortable in and out of the water. It moved with me, not restricting my motions and offering me the comfort and protection I was seeking. It truly lived up to its advertisement and reviews. I will purchase other BARE suits in the future.

This wetsuit is still tiny bit too big in the waist, but much better than typical manufacturers. I'm 6', 180lbs, with a 32inch waist. My size seem very normal/typical when I buy clothes, but for some reasons all the wetsuits seem to have big waists.
