Comments about Akona Akona Women's 3mm Shorty:

I bought this Wet Suit to wear with my Henderson 3mm full length. I used them as a "Farmer Jane" style set up. It worked wonderfully. I typically get cold in the summer if it isn't above 78F. I never got cold on this dive. Using a 3mm full body and a 3mm shorty with a thin 1mm hooded vest I had an enjoyable dive. I dove the same Quarry 3 weeks ago with a 7mm Farmer Jane and I was miserable. I couldn't move and the suit pinched the back of my knees. Not to mention being a little big up top, I felt crushed! I couldn't breath and my chest hurt. Then I was more buoyant than oil. using 24 lbs of weight to compensate for the 7mm bib wet suit and the 7mm jacket. totaling 14mm in the main core area.
Experimenting with my 2 3mm suits I dove fine with 12 lbs of weight in 67F quarry water.
I wont lie, I did feel the water the first dip in. But it only took seconds for the water to warm and that was all she wrote. I was warm the rest of the time.
This shorty is very sleek looking. I say that knowing that at the present time there isn't a photo available on leisure pro. But it is nice. Mainly all black with arrow dynamic strips wrapping down and around the waist these are a material that a BCD can not slide on and feels soft and looks like small dots.
Long story short great looking suit. And easy to get in and out of.
