Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle 7mm Merino Lined Zippered Hood:

Well made Pinnacle product but has a few design flaws. First, while the zipper may help with fit, it's one more place for water to leak through the neck seal. I've never had an issue donning a standard hood, so the zipper is only a drawback. Also, the skirt really is a few inches too short. With any substantial head movement it pulls out from the wetsuit and allows water movement down your back. The hood itself is definitely warm with the merino wool, but the neck seal issues pretty much invalidate that. Overall a good product in thought, but the design flaws really hold it back from adequate cold water performance. Go with something else until they redesign this one.

Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle 7mm Merino Lined Zippered Hood:

I purchased this product to go with my Pinnacle wetsuit. Fits well on the head but the bib seems too short in the back. Once you look down enough times the bib tends to pop out of the back of the suit. This let's cold water shoot down the back.

Make the bib 2" longer in the back and you have the perfect product.

I would recommend this if you have a high neckline on your wetsuit OR a really short neck.
