The 5mm Hood is a full-featured 5mm wetsuit hood. Built to the same exacting standards as Pinnacle's 7mm hoods, the 5mm Hood is ideal for divers who chill easily in warm water, cool water, and hearty cold water divers. . Hood is constructed from 5mm titanium lined neoprene throughout the hood and neck areas, has a large bib that tucks into wetsuit for a better seal and greater warmth, smooth-skin outer surface on bib creates seal against wetsuit, keeping water out, and 3mm face seal with smooth-skin seal. The faceseal can be trimmed to any desired size; automatic vents allow air to escape as necessary from the top of the hood while restrictingwater to re-enter. Hood is equipped with reflective rear pattern for instant recognition and safety.

This product is great! It fits better than any other hood that I have owned. Most hoods seem to fit tight in some places or loose in others, but this one seems to form to my head!

At first the hood feels a little narrow at the crown but after 2 dives feels good. Neck is not too long and is covered w/ seal skin and makes a good seal if wet suit has sealskin in neck closure. Vents air out at top,(very nice)

The best hood I have owned. Spent 2 hours in 60 deg. water removing docks with 50 deg. outside Temp. And 15 knot north Wind No water in and great fit.

I thought the hood was comfortable except the cut was a little narrow around the face. The chin part kept coming up when I wanted to talk, but once in the water, it was no problem. It can be cut and adjusted for a custom fit, but was a good product right out of the box!
