One of the easiest hoods to don, the Hyperstretch readily conforms to the head and neck, providing great thermal protection without the tight, restrictive feelthat many divers dread. It allows a generous range of motion for natural movements so divers can view the reef, check on a buddy or adjust their own gearwithout straining neck and shoulder muscles.

This is the hood for divers who don't like hoods. Made using our proven Comfort Hood pattern wearing this hood is like wearing nothing at all... except a lot warmer! Hood is made from 7/5mm neoprene Titanium Hyperstretch, has a large bib to limit water exchange and add warmth, Lycra trim and glued and sewn seams. A flow vent prevents ballooning from the diver's exhaust bubbles.

very comfortable and warm, easy on and off, nice fit, however - hood doesn't vent air as advertised - for the money you pay, get a reg hood.

Hood for those who dont like hoods.

If you dont like hoods. This one is good for you. It doesnt squeeze you like other hoods and is easy to put on and take off. Dont hesitate to buy the thicker 5mm and 7mm. I tried my GF small 7mm hood and could put it on with no problem. (I am L, she is SM) Yes this can stretch and feels great.

Con. Its a little loose around the neck so AIM smaller than you would normally buy. I buy Large and maybe would prefer a ML. Pro, if you feel squeezed around the neck with other hoods then this one is perfect. (4 star rating is for the neck, but really, i'm being harsh)

The hood bunched up on my upper back creating a cold spot for water. I ended up buying a hooded vest to prevent this. Otherwise hood was great, very elastic, easy to put on and warm.

I like the hyperstretch because I don't like a tight hood, but there is a bit too much collar to tuck in when used with a drysuit. Great hood for wetsuits.

The hood is the part of wet/dry suit I hate the most. It is crucial to me to be able to pool it on and off as quickly as possible so the Henderson 7/5-MM Titanium Hyperstretch is good enough for that matter.

Overall I liked this product. I rented several different hoods before I purchased this hood. My first dive with this hood was at Lake Tahoe and when we hit the thermocline at about 80 feet I was so glad I bought this hood!!!!!
