Henderson's Exclusive H2 -Ultra Soft - Low Modulus - Extended Memory Foam rubberwith Titanium lining is simply the best, most comfortable and technically advanced hood material available anywhere. H2 offers the same 250% stretch as with the original Hyperstretch but with a revolutionary interior and exterior fabric laminate called Aquasilk. This exclusive combination of rubber and fabricprovides the same great stretch which made traditional Hyperstretch so popular, but with a bit more compression to keep the Hood from ballooning. Ballooning, caused by excessive stretch, may allow cold water entry during initial surface entries.

The Exclusive Aquasilk advancement in synthetic fabric technology provides the pill resistant and rugged durability required for the dive environment with an ultra soft and supple "hand" found traditionally in natural fabrics. H2 hood is 7/5mm in thickness, has glued and sewn seams and flow vent to release trapped air.

Hood kept me much warmer than other "warm" hoods in 43 degree water. Was also much more comfortable. Easy on and off but still snug enough to do the job. I have recommended this to others.

What a great hood! Used it for a few ice dives and Lake Superior dives (34F) and kept my head warm and toasty. Literally no water movement. Have to tuck it over my mask skirt but honestly, I appreciate that it covers that much of my face rather than the hoods that don't come near my mask leaving the majority of my face an ice cube. Not sure about the whole vent feature, didn't notice any especially different performance than other hoods without it, but whatever... Skirt is a little excessive and gets kinda bunchy in the back of the neck but that doesn't seem to hurt any water movement properties. And I'd rather have enough skirt than those dumb hoods that come untucked when you turn your head! Overall superbly warm with little water movement; seems like a great value to me!
