The hood with the velcro closure is easy on and off. Exactly what I need when I go through swim throughs while diving. I always had a problem with bumping my head. This takes care of that problem.

The snap enclosure is too tight. If it had a more flexible velcro only enclosure, it would be ideal.

Used the Harvey's 3-mm Tropical Hood on a recent trip to the Philippines. Water temp was around 82 degrees. I normally get cold even in warm water but with the help of this hood I was very comfortable. Much more comfortable to wear than a full hood. Great product.

We use these hoods when we swim in the spring and fall. Nice and warm, but not as restrictive as a full hood and doesn't interfere with breathing (crawl).

We use these for lap swimming in the spring and fall when the water temps get below 68. It suprising how much more pleasurable a long swim is when your head is warm.

Good hood, especially for warm water wear. I'm a believer in wearing a hood on every dive. This hood is comfortable enough for every dive. I actually wear this hood under a heavier hood in really cold water.

This hood is light and comfortable. Wearing it, even in "warm" water has greatly increased my ability to stay warm during long (60 min+) dives. Also, I am usually the slowest person to descend to depth because it's not easy for me to clear my ears, but I have found that I can clear my ears fairly quickly and easily when I am wearing the hood, so I do think that the hood has helped greatly with this issue.
