This is a good hood for the price. I like the yellow stripe on the hood to improve visability on the surface and to help identify a diver underwater.

i used this for the first time last week. i cleaned the hull of a boat for about 2 hours and never felt cold. the water was 59 degrees and freezing to me the first time i tried it without a hood. this hood made the difference! cant beat the price. i dont have long hair but i could see where long hair can be a problem when wearing this hood. over all it works perfect for me and i plan to use over and over.

How do you measure your head?
Medium size was too tight and I returned for a Large (I have a 7 1/2 hat/cap size).
Fit snug (that's how it should be) but not constrictive.

I tend to be cold, even in tropical waters (I am a small female), and this hood made an enormous difference! I was stubborn for a long time, and would not buy a hood even though every divemaster told me I should, and now I regret suffering through those cold dives!

I had to use the scissors on this hood - the face opening was so small that it covered part of my eyes.

It is hard to put on and pulls my hair a bit, but it's defintely worth it once you're under!

Great Hood, good fit, warm, but collects bubbles as you use it and creates a bubble of air on top of your head.
