Mares Trilastic Gloves give you a firm grip with great dexterity. Trilastic construction means all super elastic movement, with warmth of the 6mm neoprene on the back of hand and 4mm palm covered with polyurethane for a better grip. The Glide Skin external wrist mates perfectly with either our Sapphfire or Metal Skin suit wrist creating a skin tight water seal.

These are the most comfortable gloves ive found. I buy a pair as soon as mine get old. I use them for cold water spearfishing 33-45 degrees here in the Northeast

Comments about Mares Mares 6/4MM Trilastic Gloves:

I bought these for an ice diving class. They go on very easily and were quite warm. The palms have thinner neoprene and allow for lots of dexterity.

My only complaint is that the wrist seals were a bit loose. Perhaps my drysuit seals interfered with a good seal, but a little water intruded on one of my wrists, but only when my wrist wasn't straight. It was not enough to make my wrist cold, but these otherwise VERY warm gloves had a little coolness there.

Bottom line: They worked great for ice diving, even when I was in the water for over an hour, so they are very much up to the task!

Comments about Mares Mares 6/4MM Trilastic Gloves:

I chose these 6mm to make sure they'd be warm, but I am disappointed with the purchase. I gave up using them because they are so thick I feel I cannot use my fingers at all. Do not purchase if you are going to need your hands for anything.

Comments about Mares Mares 6/4MM Trilastic Gloves:

Tried the mares gloves for the first time after using henderson for years and was very happy after my cold water dive. The temp now is thirty eight degrees and my hands stay very warm. For a thick cold water glove my hands could still pick up shells and had no problems.

Comments about Mares Mares 6/4MM Trilastic Gloves:

These gloves are really warm, and I used them in 65 degree water. They kept my hands nice and warm, and no water came in. The no-slip coating on the palms works well also. They are thick on the back, but thinner on the palm, so you still have dexterity to do things at depth. Pay attention to the seams and you'll be fine.

Comments about Mares Mares 6/4MM Trilastic Gloves:

I am on my second pair. I love these. They are warm, flexible and fit well with my small hands. I dive alot! so wear them alot! Be careful of the seams and repair if you see any separation and they will last much longer! I love the flexibility, fit and warmth.

Comments about Mares Mares 6/4MM Trilastic Gloves:

These are very warm and they actually come in sizes to fit a small hands. I usually wear henderson's and they just don't fit well so they dont keep me warm. These come is extra small and extra extra small allowing you to find something the right size. I can not believe the difference these made for keeping me warm. These seemed a little stiff the first time i wore them but they really seem to be getting more flexible with each dive. These are a great price with a great fit.

Good pair of diving gloves. Once you've put them on, you still have the dexterity to get the rest of your gear together. They offer great reef and exposure protection.
