Get warmer gloves in a thinner, more flexible material. That's the benefit of Insta Dry gloves. Their slick, anti-microbial lining is easy to slip into and eliminates the need for a bulky, leak-prone zipper. The Insta Dry neoprene also insulates better because itdoesn't lose its loft after repeated exposure to diving depths. Finished with a Cyclone Grip palm, these gloves provide positive contact with nearly any wet surface

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

I use the 3mm gloves for photography in water that runs as cold 48 degrees but mostly is in the 55-60 degree range and do 60-90min dives regularly. Hands stay warm, I can operate the camera buttons easily. Great dexterity, easy to operate small camera buttons, easy to get on and off. Down side is that all that stretchy form fitting material just does not stay sewn together very well after repeated putting on and taking off. Would not be very good for diving where you need to be gripping lines or moving around wrecks. I rarely touch or grip objects underwater. I get about 50 or so dives out of a pair before they start getting holes around the seams between the fingers. I am doing 100+ dives per year and like these gloves enough that I don't feel that one new pair a year is a big price trade off for their other qualities. Nothing is more annoying to me than bulky thick gloves that make it impossible to do the most simple tasks and really don't keep your hands that warm. Just time it to buy your annual pair in the fall :-).

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

I've used these gloves for just over 100 dives (14 months) and love the fit, but they are starting to come apart. The spaces between the fingers are forming holes and the seams around the wrist are almost ready to completely let go. They do keep your hands very warm and allow for maximum dexterity, but they just don't hold up in the long term.

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

I've used these gloves when diving both (somewhat) professionally and recreationally. I used these gloves in 55-degrees of water for 3 continuous hours, and felt as warm as toast. No water movement, nothing. Best of all, the gloves didn't compromise my dexterity. Only quibble is that they're a little hard to put on when dry, but like all InstaDry gear, a good dip in the water prior to donning makes things much easier.

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

Great gloves! They fit tight to your hands and stretch to your movements. This allows for virtually no water to move through & cool your hands. They are made of a rubber-like material that does not absorb water, but I would not call them "insta-dry" as it doesn't dry, it only sheds the water. The only concern about the gloves that I have is their degree of durability as after the second dive I noted the cuff seam looked as if it had started to show some wear.

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

Used 3mm gloves in 54 degree water. Hands stayed warm throughout day doing 3 different 45 min dives. Great dexterity- able to manipulate bolt snaps without difficulty. I had no difficulty getting gloves on and off. I trimmed about 0.5 inches off of wrist of each glove to faciliate wearing with my dry suit seals.

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

well, i'm confused after reading most other reviews about this glove, because no one seems to have any serious problems with it. So I will simply tell my experience and readers can decide for themselves. These gloves are close to tatters now, after only a year, with no hard usage, just normal diving. The seams are tearing by the wrist, between every finger has sprung a hole in the seam, and the neoprene on most of the fingertips has fallen away or dissolved or something.
But the craftmanship is the only problem I have with this glove. It fits so comfortably and snugly, and despite all the holes I can still dive in less than 50 degrees (not for as long though). The dexterity is great in them, and you can control a camera with utmost precision. I'm hoping I just got a lemon pair.
If you're a warm(ish) water diver these would be good gloves even with broken seams, if that should happen. Unfortunately i would not recommend these, based on my experience. If you decide to buy, and the same thing happens, please write a review so others don't make the mistake :)

Comments about Henderson Henderson Insta Dry 3mm Gloves:

I have these gloves and love them, the only complaint after 2 years with them is the rubber wrist seal is starting to rip on both wrists but they still work.. good I imagine I will be replacing them with the same in the next year.
