Comments about Blue Reef Blue Reef 5mm kevlar Glove:

I only use Kevlar gloves because they are great for the type of diving I do. These gloves work fine but the durability and quality is poor. Gloves typically last two seasons for me. These gloves have only lasted one season. I prefer Deep See but Leiser pro no longer sells them.

I also do not like the way the strap on these gloves work. The way the strap wraps does not work well and part of the strap ends up sticking out. I prefer the 'wrap around' style strap.

Comments about Blue Reef Blue Reef 5mm kevlar Glove:

I usually wear a size large but it felt too tight so I reordered a size extra -large. This was better but still a little snug. I've done 4 wreck dives with them so far and there's no sign of wear. I do alot of digging & scrounging in wrecks that normally ruin a pair of new gloves quickly.

Comments about Blue Reef Blue Reef 5mm kevlar Glove:

Gloves are quite thick, but the finger design stop and the second knuckle of the finger... I guess that's okay to retain warmth, but reminds me of the poor fitting gloves I was issued in the Army.

Comments about Blue Reef Blue Reef 5mm kevlar Glove:

I hunt for lobsters in New England and these gloves are perfect for the job. I stick my hands into tight spots under rocks and these gloves offer the flexibility and strength to stand up to this abuse. They protect me from lobster bites and allow me to grab and hold onto my quarry. In addition they keep my hand nice and warm in the cold Boston waters. One minor problem is sizing. If you normally take a large in other gloves, order an extra large in this brand. They're sized a bit snug.

Comments about Blue Reef Blue Reef 5mm kevlar Glove:

We do alot of diving in the river during the cold winter months, the gloves offers us the added thickness for warm. We loose a little dexterity. The durability of the glove is a highlight due to the environment was are usually in.
