The front entry Freedom 2 Dry Suit is an excellent suit for any diver who prefers a lightweight, flexible, low maintance suit. Despite its lightweight and economical price the Freedom 2 provides the best ratio of features to value in a dry suit. Suit is equipped with a diagonal front entry YKK-BDM type self donning zipper. Its design and flexible trilaminate material utilizes a butylrubber center layer that bond the rugged polyester/nylon exterior inner and outer layers. This construction allows a diver to move incredibly free in the water and on land, yet is robust enough for repeated hard-core wreck diving. Suit comes standard with neoprene socks attached complete with rough-skin soles. Internal elasticized waistband and suspenders improves fit and comfort. Right leg includes a large pocket with sealing flap and Velcro closure. The Freedom includes high-end features that are normally only found in suits costing twice the price, yet the suit leaves you with savings to apply to your next dive trip!

I was a little skeptical before receiving the suit, but to my surprise it's extremely easy to get in and out, very comfortable, the zipper looks heavy duty (I've also waxed it so it's very smooth), the automatic dump valve works like a charm. It dries incredibly fast except for the neoprim socks, I really love it and Pinnacle has done a great job with it. For the price it's unbeatable.

Over all size is good except that it's a little large on the hips which make it a bit hard to put my belt.

I don't know how it would look like after wreck penetration but I'd do my best not to touch anything.

Awesome drysuit! Finally a good quality one I can afford. I have used it several times this year. Water temp 46 degrees and I was warm. Wet suit divers with me were freezing!

ok got the suit dove it for 4 months and love it
it leaks a littel around the neck but i might haft to shave my neck lol

only con get the size up form what you need the suit runs kinda on the smaller side

I purchased this suit for my 44th birthday and I'm very happy with it in all respects. I dive every other weekend here in NY. It was 41 degrees with snow on the beach last weekend and I was comfortable.
Easy to get on/off, pocket comes in handy for adding trim weight.

Exceptional value for a heavy duty, front entry suit. The neck seal is thick and stands up to repeated stretching. The wrist seals are the thickest I've ever used. It does take some time to get them on and off, so be sure to use talc or a latex friendly lubricant. Description of being a top wreck/cave suit is right on. The inflator hose is a little short though, I prefer the DUI inflator hose.

I really like the hip pocket and neoprene socks (vs boots). You will need rock boots, but I found Converse high-top tennis shoes work great and fit inside most normal sized fins (go 1 to 1.5 times larger on the Converse sizing).

Add some DiveRite dry gloves like I did and you are set for cold water diving.
