Your comfort is important to Deep See so they made the sole with a built-in arch, raised heel, and two-seam pattern to minimize chafing of the foot. For easy donning and doffing the Deep See Manta Boot is equipped with a non-corrosive Delrin #10 Heavy-Duty Zipper.

Just used these booties for a week long trip in the Bahamas. They didn't give me as many blisters or chafing as other boots I've had. However, it'd be even better if they made half-sizes. I had to go up a size for a not-too-tight fit.

very warm boots just get a size bigger than normal since they are thicker they are a little smaller

My only complaint is that this boot is not wide enough for my foot. It is true to size as far as length, but I have wide feet. When I am wearing my fins they become a bit uncomfortable. However when I am just walking around they are the best pair of boots I have tried out. Good solid lugs that give traction on slippery surfaces and you can walk on rocks unlike other boots.

I didn't get to test these in water because I'm returning them but I was very disappointed to find that they are too snug in the toes and the ankle opening is very wide which would allow a lot of water in easily.

I do wear 8.5 and went down a half size after it has been recommended to me since no one makes dive boots in half sizes.

If you wear a full size and have large ankles, it seems like a sturdy boot that would keep your feet from getting poked by marine life.

I originally bought another brand which looked like Deep Sea but had none of the fit, durability and versatility these have. Not only are they a great dive boot but they can be worn on the dive site like a pair of shoes.

Use these boots in 72 and 68 degree water every week in complete comfort. Love the shoe like bottom. They provide complete protection on rocks, shells, and nice to walk around in. Almost like wearing waterproof shoes.

I wouldn't go as far to say poor craftsmanship. But I have gone through 2 pairs. On the first the zipper broke, but it was replaced. The second pair had a seam break at the bottom. Im on the third pair and it is holding up really well. 2 of my buddies have the same boots and have had no problems.

It seems to live up to it's billing.
