There's a problem with sizing. I normally wear 8 on all my shoes. but somehow it did fit a bit tight that I'm planning to order a size 9. So be Careful and order 1 size bigger than usual. Though it is not listed in the list of uses it is comfortable with open heel fins. It is also useful in rocky sea and beach as the name suggests.

Me and my husband ordered these and his fit and worked great. I had to order the men's size and it was a bit too small but didn't come in half size. The thin mesh on top rubbed my foot raw when I walked around in my fins but my husband didn't have a problem. He kept his but I exchanged mine for the Henderson Tropic since it is smooth and thicker on top and won't allow the fin to rub my foot.

These are great for beach wear and when you want to prevent those nasty coral and rock cuts while playing in the water. I use them for general use when I plan on going to the beach - they are very confortable in and out of the water and you can't beat the price.

I bought these for my 14 y/o son to wear on the beach. They were perfect for this use though we thought they ran a little small. They were very well made and the insole was stitched-in which was a GREAT feature. Other water shoes have loose insoles that always seem to slide around.

Good for all around water use (tubing, rafting, boating). Not good upper heel support for fins and they "give" a lot when wet - feeling too big although length-wise they're pretty true to size..
