This is a very nicely designed and functional weight belt. The 5# soft lead shot bags are a snug fit, probably as big as you can get into the pouches.

The pockets keep the weights in the same position throughout the dive and they don't dig into you like they do on a web belt. I did not have any problems with the buckle, have used the same buckle for years on my web belt without any problems either. For the first time in over 350 dives I didn't have to shift weights around or be reminded that they were digging into me! Love the belt.

Great weight belt to use my soft weights. My only complaint is that I wish the 4x pockets could be taken apart and used in different configurations. When I was new to diving I needed more weight so this was great but now that I use a lot less, 3 of the 4 pockets on each side are empty and just add extra bulk. Oh well, time to buy single weight pockets.

Great belt. Weight pockets are not sewn together, i.e., they're independently moveable on the belt. This is great because you can situate the weights in different locations to suit your balance. Most new pocket style belts have all the pockets attached to each other. The main negative aspect of it was the cheap plastic buckle that mine came with. Broke on first dive. I swapped it with the metal buckle off of my standard belt and it works great. The pockets are a little bulkier than some, because it's heavy grade nylon and the pocket flaps bulge out a bit. I would have given five stars except for the buckle. I love the belt and just finished ordering another for my son.

Very stiff to start with,but after several uses I readjusted the belt and added depth adjusting buckle and no problems. After you break the belt in and make your final adjustments it stays in place. Nice Belt ! There are others that are cheaper, but this product is superior.[...]

I use these belts for all Scuba courses, especially entry level where adding and removing weight is so often to control the buoyancy of Students in Swimming pool and sea. For those students with big belly or back problem; I use a suspender to add more comfort.

The belt worked flawlessly for its intentions, but it is nothing special. Your standard 2" nylon webbing with (in my case) 3 xs scuba weight pockets on each side. The buckle is plastic and with the price paid I expected it to be metal. Nonetheless I had no issues on the eight dives I've had with it. The weights remained in place and the buckle remained clamped. Bottomline I would recommend this belt.

This one looks much better made than the other brand I had where the weights wore through the pockets and had a thin plastic like lining that just disintegrated and a long zipper which kept getting stuck. I like the simplicity of this one, plus if I don't have a weight in one of the pockets, I can put something else in there.

I purchased this item specifically for dry suit use. However I discovered that the pockets were too small to fit standard soft pellet weights. Due to this design flaw, I returned the item.

I use this belt along with my weight integrated BCD so that I don't have dump all weights in the event I need to. The belt makes it easy to to dump weights with one right hand buckle release. This belt allows for multiple weight placement and gives me more flexibility.

Easy to use when visiting different resorts or dive centers; catch the weights and place them in the pockets without having to pass through the belt and fix them so they will not move. Fast loading and confortable while diving. Great buy.

belt is much more comfortable than one with hard weights and much more forgivring if it's being tossed around on a boat. The strap is long and very stiff.
