the snorkel is poorly constructed. I had one and after three dive it broke. I bought another and on the first dive it broke. It in not "dry" as advertised as water does enter the snorkle.

This is a very good snorkel. I have an original one about 5 years old and purchased this for the wife.
I don't like that it does not have the flex tube in the bottom to make the mouthpiece more comfortable.
Otherwise this is a proven snorkel that will work great and dry in all conditions.

The only problem I have ever had is the shut off. If you tilt your head in a semi-submerged fashion the water will come in the tube but that is user error.

I like this snorkel very well, no changes needed. If mine beraks (I have kids, so the chance is high) I will by another. Each of my kids own one of these as well.

New Not as Good as Original Design

I had the original snorkel by this manufacturer and loved it. The new one with all its moveable parts and twisting ability continues to be a bad fit on the mask strap. Therefore floods mask while it torques as well as flooding itself. Also bought non rigid style and can't get enough air from this product.
