A dry snorkel that REALLY stays dry! Our exclusive valve and purge combination keep the Mojave snorkel dry as a bone! The upper valve guards against splashes and seals the tube while underwater. Silicone purge allows effortless clearing, and prevents water from seeping inside.

A truly DRY snorkel! When the Mojave snorkel is submersed, the uniquely designed, hinged seal swings upward to seal the airway. Water can't get in! As you surface, the flap swings open allowing air to re-enter the tube. It's that simple and that dry. When you are out snorkeling and want to surface dive to look at something that has caught your eye up close this dry snorkel seals out water when submerged. Once you return to the surface there is no need to blow into the snorkel to remove water because the dry valve kept it out of the breathing tube.

The Mojave has a clear silicone flex tube and mouthpiece. The angled mouthpiece fits comfortably in your mouth for hours of snorkeling fun. The mouthpiece is also replaceable and can be removed easily when replacement is necessary (see SKU: GNSSMP). The flexible lower tube makes the Mojave perfect for Scuba by automatically swing out of the way when you are using your Scuba regulator.

The deep reservoir lower mouthpiece section with its one-way purge valve makes clearing the snorkel quick and easy once you surface from a Scuba dive. The adjustable mask strap retainer clip will keep your snorkel perfectly adjusted and ready for use. Once you have completed your dive it also makes removal from the mask easy.

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

I have been using this daily for two weeks while on vacation. The mouthpiece is too big for a girls mouth, the slightest waves either restrict airflow or let water in b/c it doesn't sit high enough out of the water, and the there is always water in the mouth piece so I have to stop and clear it out about every 2 minutes, it's hard to purge it. I won't buy it again, I will go back to a scubamax one that my husband stole from me b/c he liked it so well.

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

A snorkel is a great idea for those who want to swim laps for exercise but who've had back surgery and can't turn their necks. It's also great for asthmatics (like myself) who want to swim laps for exercise, but can't do the breathing. This has really expanded my ability to swim laps. The mouthpiece is so soft and comfortable, one of the best. The only thing I would wish to change, would be to make it just a little longer.

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

Nice Snorkel. Stays dry when you dive down and purges fine too. I have to agree with the other review and say that it doesn't stick high enough out of the water making it easy to dip under water when a wave comes or your face goes too low. Other than that, it is a great snorkel especially for the super cheap price. If I wanted another dry snorkel, I would but this again, but I feel that dry snorkels are a waste for scuba diving. A conventional one works just fine.

It works just fine as a snorkel. It does take a little getting used to. The only problem is the purge valve doesn't quite get all the water out, and you are left with some gurgling in the bottom of the snorkel.

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

This is a great dry (as close to it as they come). I have used lots of snorkels and few that are dry compare, especially since this one is so inexpensive. Compared to other "dry" snorkels like the Mares Hydrex Superdry Flex Snorkel, or the Kapitol Reef Snorkel, or even Famous Brand Ocean Master 3D Flex Dry Snorkel (all snorkels I have used extensively) this one is the best, and definitely the driest of all of them. This snorkel is a great value and an awesome product. Try this before spending more on a more expensive snorkel.

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

I tested this snorkel out at the beach, not scuba diving. It definitely stays dry, I only had to purge it once, however it does shift to a rather uncomfortable angle against the face after a short period of time. Also, when waves washed over the top sudden lack of air I found disorienting at first (this is my first dry snorkel) and would have simply preferred to get some water in my mouth. Still, a good snorkel for calmer waters!

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

This snorkel is a great value. It really does keep the water out. I have tried lots of supposed dry snorkels and they all flood–yes, even this one–when you exhale and are inverted or turned so that the valve faces up. The difference between this one and all of the others that I have tried is that this one is VERY easily cleared in this situation. The others tubes have too small of diameters, and closing valves that are not easily blown open.

For your $$ this snorkel is probably the best. You get a highly functional snorkel at a low price.

Comments about Genesis Genesis FS7000 Mojave Dry Snorkel:

I really like this snorkel. Previous snorkels I have used were of the semi-dry variety designed to keep most of the water out. These were only partly effective, as I would still end up with a mouthful of water when I twisted my head too far and the snorkel tip would dip below the surface. The Genesis Mojave pretty much eliminates that problem. You can still get a little water coming in if you dip your head a lot, but it is pretty minimal. I have not tried other dry-style snorkels so I do not know how they compare, but I do like this one. Incidentally, I bought the snorkel online. It had a faulty purge valve and I was unable to contact the online store. But I was able to send a comment to the manufacturer at their cramerdecker.com website. They were very customer friendly, and after I emailed them a receipt for the snorkel they sent me a new one, which worked just fine.
