The EVAC snorkel lets you purge away water in the breathing tube without a superhuman burst of air from your lungs. In fact, it doesn't require any air from your lungs.
To use the EVAC, simply push upward on the pump housing. As the housing springs back into its original position, it creates a syphon, sucking water from the breathing tube. With just a couple of pumps on the EVAC, you'll have an open, unobstructed, dry air passage.

This is a good snorkel all in all. Its very comfortable to use, but when you aren't using it sometimes it will get in the way because of the long purge valve.
