Brand: Cressi
Located in: Essential Equipment, Snorkels
The Dry Snorkel has an anti-splash end with a special valve that seals the tube as you dive, almost totally preventing the entrance of water when the snorkel issubmerged. The lower end has a corrugated section that has a smooth internal bore which prevents trapping water inside the snorkel tube allowing excess waterto quickly drain to the collection cup below. The corrugated section also quickly drops away from the diver's mouth when switching from the snorkel to the Scuba regulator.

The special water collection cup, with its large elliptic one-way exhaust valve makes expelling excess water quick and easy. The angled mouthpiece and corrugated tube section are both made from hypoallergenic silicone adding comfort and function. A quick release snorkel keeper and ergonomic shape makes this one great snorkel.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Dry Snorkel:

This is the first dry snorkel I have used.

The dry feature is good, I have been using it for snorkelling and it allows me to expend more of my air underwater rather than saving it for clearing the snorkel for when I surface.

However, this snorkel is a little annoying in that the small amount of water that does get in isn't super easy to purge. It seems to require more puff than others to clear.

Other than that pretty sweet.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Dry Snorkel:

Loved the look and feel right out of the box, and couldn't wait to try it out. Did a snorkeling trip from the beach and had a great time- until I tried to use it scuba diving a few days later. A few grains of sand had caused the float/ dry mechanism to lodge in the closed position. Still a favorite for Scuba though, just keeping a closer eye on it now.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Dry Snorkel:

A good all-around snorkel, but the one little surprise I really enjoy is the clip is releasable. So once you get the clip attached to your mask strap (which can take some effort), you can quickly detach and reattach the it to the snorkel. VERY handy little design feature.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Dry Snorkel:

Good product! Works well, however the water doesn't stay out if you're snorkeling with a lot of waves. It stays dry when you submerge and come back up so that's was good!

Comments about Cressi Cressi Dry Snorkel:

This snorkel works great, stayed dry and did not suck in any water. the quick release clip is a nice feature. The mouth piece is at a good angle so my jaw never became tired after two and a half hours of snorkeling.

Comments about Cressi Cressi Dry Snorkel:

Snorkel always stayed dry on my dives, never sucked in any water. The only problem i had with it was the clip that holds it to the mask would catch my hair, and didn't hold it in the most comfortable position while using it.
