The Impulse 3 snorkel is the newest in a line of superior snorkels offered by Aqua Lung. The Impulse 3's streamlined design is a hit with divers, as is it incredibly efficient dual-valve system, which prevents water from traveling through the snorkel and into your mouth. If in rare situations, water does enter the snorkel, a simple puff of air is all you need to clear the water through the snorkel's lower one-way valve.

The Impulse 3 is engineered with a more streamline ergonomic design than its predecessors, yet has kept all the features that have made this snorkel legendary among serious divers.

The replaceable Pure Silicone Comfo-Bite Mouthpiece, the most popular mouthpiecein diving today allows you to just rest the mouthpiece in your mouth requiring no biting down to keep it in position reducing jaw fatigue and increasing comfort. We all needed new snorkels and this one is a good choice. Flexible mouthpiece is very comfortable. Even my 5 year old granddaughter used one

this is a great snorkel, if the flex part was a little stiffer it will be perfect.im gonna order another one but in the none flex version

This snorkel is way, way, way too big. I was constantly trying to get out of my face. It's like strapping a dumbbell to your head, to be frank. I understand the wide bore idea, but it's getting outrageous. I haven't noticed a big difference in breathing capability anyways. It's still a snorkel, and it's still not all that efficient.

I should also mention that it flooded rather easily in open water during swells ranging from 3' (feet) to 6'.

I made this purchase as a gift because I already had one and loved it. I bought mine from the local dive shop at nearly double the cost Leisurepro sells it for. It's my local dive shops #1 choice and that is why I bought mine in the first place.

I'm a novice spearfisherman and this is a great snorkel for what I'm doing. Waves never get the best of me. The splashguard works amazingly well.

I use this snorkel for both scuba and skindiving ventures.As I have said, the snorkel keeper is the only problem I have with this model. This is one of the best snorkels I have ever used. It meets all of my needs and then some. Having asthma, when I need air I really need it. It's full bore really delivers.Really outstanding product.

I use the product snorkeling, free diving, and spearfishing. It is great because the purge valve works great as long as you pull your head out of the water. It is not a beginner snorkel though as it does tend to flood and doesn't keep water from entering when you submerge. Beginners should get a snorkel with a close off valve at the top.

I had rented an Impulse 2 before on vacation and decided this one could only be better. I'm not so sure thats true, when I had used the impulse 2 I never had a problem with the snorkel getting water in or purging, but this one was a lot more difficult to use, but still did the job. If I was to buy a snorkel again, I would get an Impulse 2.

If your were to buy this product in a dive shop without any kind of discount it would be a little steep, but the price on here is totally worth it's value. I have tried countless snorkels and between snorkeling and diving have gone through several snorkels to find one that is at least semi-good.

Super easy to purge, great overall design, never gets water in waves, and really easy to breathe. I would get this snorkel again in a heartbeat.

Excellent design. The only drawback is the mouthpiece is slightly uncomfortable for me after extended periods of time. I've used snorkels with more comfortable mouthpieces but this is the best all around snorkel I've used.

I normally dive without a snorkel ( dive off of a friend's boat ), but I purchased this one for long surface swims and the large number of courses I started taking.
The plastic clip that holds it to the mask snapped off during my Rescue class. The large bore at the head of the snorkel feels awkward during dives.
I did like the larger lower purge area, and it did not allow an excessive amount of water in, but it didn't breath dry at all, for the money there are much better snorkels out there.

A nearly perfect product. Its only con lies in the fatigue factor, which only becomes present after multiple consecutive days in the water.

I seldom flood with this snorkel and when it happens, purging is effortless.
