I am not as comfortable in the water as I could be, so I get freaked out if salt water gets in my snorkel. I was in Jamaica and the water was quite choppy and I had minimal to no problems! One person on the same tour said she felt like she was drowning (used the snorkels provided on the boat). It made for the most enjoyable snorkeling I have ever done.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
My wife always said "I hate snorkelling because I breath in more water than air". I got this snorkel for her hoping that it would change things. Once she tried it, everything changed.
"It is comfortable, reliable, and doesn't let water in". On our trip to the Caymans, she ended up snorkelling 3 times a day.
I do recommend rinsing it out with fresh water after a dive so that the mechanism continues to work as designed.
Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
I used it for snorkeling in the Caribbean. Not one bit of water ever went into this dry stop snorkel! I was blown away with this dry stop snorkel compared to others I have used. It was expensive but worth the money. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Bought this as a gift for someone who has been scuba diving for years and was already very pleased with his own dry snorkel. He was skeptical when he got it, but after using it LOVES it and says it is even better than the one he had before.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Recently traveled to Aruba and put this thing to the test. It is Fantastic! It stayed true to its name and remained "DRY". I snorkeled over a sunken German ship and near some local reefs. One thing I will mention is that when this snorkel begins to enter the water, there is an IMMEDIATE shut off of air flow. Therefore, you have to be prepared - after getting used to this feature, I felt like I covered miles of the ocean with this thing. Love it...
I had to get my order on Next Day Air and Leisure Pro came through. I think his name was Aaron. The place was closing in a hour and he still got it processed. Thanks!

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
I am constantly diving but love to do a bit of snorkeling from the shore as well. With the choppy waters that I'm accustomed to, the Cuda makes for an excellent choice in snorkels. It never floods and makes free diving to the bottom a breeze. Not worrying about sucking in a mouth full of water that didn't purge properly is one less thing to worry about when your chasing down snapper at 20 feet. The only problem I've had with the Cuda is the "easy" release mask strap attachment. It seems to stick and not do its job, so I tend to take it completely off when storing. Bottom line is it works great in the water so what else could you ask for.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
I LOVE this snorkel! The only time I had an airflow problem is when I was supposed to (head tipped too far forward snorkeling, wave crashing over me, etc.).
This is truly a dry snorkel, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone.

Just got back from Belize. Three of us used them there and were very pleased with with it's performance. I don't think you can find a better snorkel on the market, regardless of price.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
My previous snorkel was $35, 6 yrs ago. I couldn't feel comfortable taking my 3 nephews scalloping with this leaky snorkel. I ordered
the Aeris dry snorkel and went scalloping in the Gulf with my nephews and in rough conditions (Hurricane Edward left us some rough water). Absolutely, no water in my snorkel! My husband had a difficult time, even though he was at ease with his snorkel two weeks earlier. Thanks for a great snorkel.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Very nice product and stays dry really well, even while snorkeling in rough seas. Only con is sometimes im snorkeling and the airway blocking piece decides to stick on me if its just a little tilted.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Great snorkel!!! It does everything it says it will. You keep breathing as usual, and when a wave comes, your air stops, but no water comes in! Then when the wave passes, you can breath in again. That simple!
Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
This is a great product and it works great- definitely worth it!

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Great for the first few dives, then started to leak a little which is very annoying. Maybe it got banged around too much....either way it hasn't been abused and it shouldn't leak.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
It says Dry.. It stays dry. Even in surface chop I didn't get any water in it!
Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Very good snorkel. Very good at preventing water from entering the tube. The few times I got water in I had to purge a couple of times to get the water out but very rare to get significant water in.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
All Four of my family dive and between us we own six different brands of premium snorkels. We often exchange gear to find the pieces that best suit our individual preferences. the Cuda is not the best I own for dryness, but I away use it on my snorkeling trips because the mouth piece is by far the most comfortable, my wife also perfers this snorkle. The only negative thing that has happened is the top, valve part of the snorkel was broken of by airport baggage handlers when it was shipped in a soft bag.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
I took this to the Caribbean and used it 3 times in 7 days. This thing is so dry it makes me ask the question "How was I able to snorkel before without this?"
I don't know if it was something else at that time but I kinda felt too much positive bouyancy going down deep depths. And since it retains air it might have added to it somehow.
I love this snorkel. Going through turbulent 3ft swells was so easy. Everybody gave up except me.
Delivery was exceptional. I am now a loyal LP shopper.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
I am extremely satisfied with the performance of this snorkel. It is truly a dry snorkel.
I own three snorkels but I used this one for my divemaster 800 yard swim because I knew I could depend on it.
However,I recommend an additional snorkel keeper to secure it to the mask.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Recently used on Caribbean dives and snorkeling. I liked it, my 11 year old thought it was a great improvement over his previous dry snorkel (an inexpensive ScubaPro).

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
you really have to try to get water into the snorkel. it closes off the airway when a wave washes over you, so no water gets in. i feel completely comfortable and confidant when using it in the ocean or a river. the purge works well.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
Overall I was pleased with the snorkel but at times I did find water would leak in just before the valve would close. The very last dive I did in Ireland at Scuba Dive West, I lost this snorkel. Oh well.

Comments about Aeris Aeris Cuda Dry Snorkel:
I don't use this snorkel for SCUBA, but I do use it for snorkeling and hunting. It is very dry and comfortable. The only problem I have had is when I dive down a few meters. You can't leave your mouth on the snorkel, because the dry seal is so good. The suction is really strong. The result is having to purge when you surface. However, that is not a big deal at all. As far as snorkels go, it is a good one.
