When you buy a SeaSoft SeaBag, you are assured of a weight bag that is tough, well made, has graphics that will last!

All SeaSoft SeaBags have lead shot double-coated in graphite. You have Seasoft's assurance that you are getting a properly-weighed bag with their two-year warranty against any defects in materials or workmanship.

SeaSoft SeaBags are very popular, corrosion-resistant, lead shot-filled bags made of super strong, low-density neoprene that adds noadditional buoyancy. They are closed with a 3 thread industrial serger and then straight-stitched with 2 threads for extra strength. These 5 heavy, thick, 100% nylon threads protect the seams from ever opening up, even with rough treatment.

SeaSoft SeaBags are designed to easily fit into weight-integrated BCs, SeaSoft pockets, and the SeaFlex weight belts. They are shaped in a rectangular pattern to fit easily into your weight pouches.

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

I bought these thinking they looked cool and would be easiest to use in a weight belt or integrated BC. WRONG. They're overly bulky and squishy, meaning you can fit less weight into pockets than with brick weights - and you'll fight the whole time getting them in there.
While we're at it, I might add: they drip fine lead all over you when you rinse them! NOT GOOD. (Stains your towels too.)
Do yourself a BIG favor and get plastic-coated bricks. These things are now doorstops.

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

weight bags have lasted me for three years of boat diving off the Jersey Coast. I have never had any issues with lead pellets falling out, definitely a plus. As far as being too bulky, they are larger than mesh bags; but I have never had any problems fitting them into my Zeagle Ranger as well as my trim pouches.

The weights are larger than regular mesh bags and are especially difficult to squeeze >3lbs bags into my BC's rear trim pockets.

Also the neoprene covering takes forever to dry.

These are bulky due to the thick neoprene surrounding the lead, they also take forever to dry - due to the thick neoprene surrounding the lead, and they fade in the sunlight while taking forever to dry.

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

The weights are built to last. After the dive I take them out and toss them in my weight bag that is in the back of my truck and no damage. Only thing do not like is if you have velcro on your weights pockets it can cause you to slow down inserting them but that is a minor problem.

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

I've had these weigths for about 3 years now, and I'm buying more of them. None of them have broken, and the markings are still clear on all of them. You can literally toss these weights around without damaging them. they fit ito integrated pockets much better than hard weights or the "aqua lead shot soft weights." They do take a while to dry, but that isn't really an issue with the bag I keep them in.

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

The sea bags are a great invention over the old lead blocks. The fit in my BC pocket with ease and they don’t hurt when you drop them and you will drop them. I was very happy to use these and the made me feel very comfortable in my gear. I definitely would recommend for everyone to use soft weights.

Poorly thought out product
By Big MacVerified Reviewer from Dallas, Texas on 4/18/2007

They don't float
Cons:
High maintenance
Best Uses:

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

These weights look and seem cool. But after the post-dive rinse, I have to prop them up and angle them just right so that the water can escape out of the corners. SeaSoft makes some pretty nice stuff, but these weights must have been designed during Bring Your Daughter to Work Day.

these dry out veeerrry slowly
By FASTDANNYVerified Reviewer from MENASHA, WI on 2/15/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Easy To Use, Functional
Cons:
SLOW TO DRY OUT
Best Uses:
Warm Water, WARM WEATHER
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Seasoft SeaSoft Heavy Duty Neoprene lead shot filled SeaBags:

pros: they're not hard
drop a 5lb on your toe, won't hurt
cons:
grey lead dust looking stuff drips out while drying
they seem to take up more room in weight pockets than hard weights,
They take forever and a day to dry out before storing.
in cold weather when wet, they will all freeze together into a solid clump if placed in a plastic tote, where as hard weights could be left in the car, these need to be thawed or dried. so that's 26lbs more gear I have to drag in and out of the house.
