Since I just started diving I wanted to buy long-lasting items, that's why I bought some of these also taking into account my instructor's point of view.
They are quite functional and their vinyl coat make them easy to handle plus lead does not have contact with the water as with un-coated lead weights (less water contaminated by lead).

Great weights, they look awesome against my camo wetsuit and the black coating will not rub off.

Great weights. They have a great feel to them, unlike the uncoated lead weights. I have a Mares Icon BCD and they fit perfectly snug in there. I ordered several 2, 4, 5, and 6 pound weights. They were shipped to me in great condition in bubble wrap. Be careful, if these are weights to be used with an integrated BCD weight system, anything larger than a 6 pound may not fit. Two 6 pounds barely fit in the Mares Icon. Because they're coated they seem to be a bit thicker than regular weights.
Can we say lightning fast? Oh, and great condition too, materials were all in bubble wrap and the package was nicely sealed. Nice job Leisure Pro.

Great product. I'm not a fan of having skin come in contact with lead and the covering on these presents that. In addition it stops them from shiftin on the belt w/o the need for a clip.

Important to use COATED weights because uncoated weights leach lead into the environment, and onto your gear, hands...etc.
Reasonably priced, pratical and environmentally sound.
Even the shipping costs dont get out of hand. Small weights are great to own, even if you dive with an outfitter that provides weights, as they likely wont have small "trim" weights.
