The reg hose has an extra large fitting to the first stage - not standard LP or HP. Large hose is supposed to breathe easier but the octopus fitting is on top of the primary fitting when tank valve faces BCD. Works OK and breathes very easy. This is approved by TUSA for any temperature so is good for cold water dives, something that their higher model number regulators may not be.
