If you're a warm-water diver who gets that awful feeling of dry mouth, you are going to love Oasis. Sherwood has developed two, second-stage, moisture-retention that keep your mouth cool and comfortable all-dive long.(What a relief!) Sherwood's clean environmental dry-air-bleed first-stage design this unique feature keeps the internal components clear of salt, sand, chlorine and other mineral deposits that cause deterioration of internal parts in other regulators that require more frequent service. The Oasis First-Stage is equipped with two primary high flow ports that boost air pressure to the second-stage, with a total of four LP ports for accessories. Made of Chromed Marine Grade Brass with extra large Yoke Screw Hand Wheel that is easy to turn even when wearing gloves.

Great and reliable Reg for any recreational diver.I first used my reg on a diving trip to the warm waters of Aruba. At times i would forget i even had the reg in my mouth. It was that comfortable!!

My first one of these gave me thousands of dives. I'm now on my second one and I bought one for the wife. Sherwood has never failed me and I dive to 200 feet. I'm a professional SDI, SSI, Padi, with many thousands of dives all on this regulator (except for testing others equipment) I have scene and tested many regulators. Be careful not to buy junk. this is you life support device. Happy diving..

This reg is lightyears better than the Aqualung Titan, the only other reg I have experience with. Drymouth is essentially gone and I have much less jaw fatigue. Installing the alternate exhaust also made a big difference as far as bubbles in the face go.

Bottom line, this is a very well thought out and executed reg.

I only recently became a certified diver, and I purchased this regulator prior to my open water certification dives. I had experienced jaw fatigue and severe dry mouth/throat during my class, so the minute I saw this regulator online I knew I needed to try it. One of best features of this regulator is that you have the option to attach the extended exhaust tee to prevent bubbles from obstructing your vision. I am extremely happy with this regulator, and I couldn't imagine using anything else.

I always had a bone dry throat after diving with rental regulators (mostly Scubapro MK 2's and Sherwood Bruts.)

When it came time to buy my own regulator the instructor at the local dive shop suggested an Oasis.

Wow what a difference in the condition of my throat after using the Oasis.

Great regulator! My 24 year old Sherwood Oasis Regulator is still going strong as I have passed it down to my son for his use. This new Oasis is a replacement for me since my son is now certified. It's a great value and everything I need in a regulator. The inner 2nd stage moisture condenser keeps my mouth and throat from drying out.

I ahve only used the reg once but it worked fine. The breathing was effortless and even when I was at 200 p.s.i I felt no difference in breathing resistance.

I bought 2 of these regulators for my nephews and they work great. My only complaint is that when I sent them into LeisurePro for maintenance, they told me they did NOT service them for nitrox. You will need to get them serviced for Nitrox elsewhere and they may not be under warranty.

I went in to buy an Atomic but the divemaster talked me into the Sherwood Oasis. Now my wife, daughter, and I all have the Oasis. It is a great reg, lightweight, low-profile second stage. Absolutely no problems with it. I do believe that it helps with the dry mouth. I have not noticed a dry problem since I've been using this reg. Like one of the other raters said, I'm told that the incredibly simple design means reliability!

Anyone who has ever opened up one of these Sherwood regulators will testify that it is about the simplest design you will ever see. In my mind this translates to reliability and we have never had any problem with ours.

Because of the bleed valve dry design this regulator should not be taken to depth without turning on the air supply. This makes it unsuitable for you deco gas bottle.

I used the oasis as part of a package I purchased and must admit the normal "dry mouth" syndrome was reduced. Used for 25 dives in Bonaire and worked flawlessly. I am pleased and feel it was a great bonus to the package I purchased. This is the first Sherwood regulator I have owned after years with the Dacor 960 Pacer. Staying well hydrated was also a factor too.
