MK2 Plus First Stage
This first stage epitomizes reliability and s implicity. Its standard piston design is ideal for divers who don't want to get bogged down with an overwhelming amount of bits and pieces, but still want the p eace of mind that comes with a sound piece of equipment. This first stage is equ ipped with SCUBAPRO's Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which will keep your firs t stage functioning properly, even in frigid water. The MK2 has one high-pressure port and four low-pressure ports.

R295 Second Stage
This second stage offers an ideal balance of quality, comfort, and reliability. The R295's downstream valve means you can dive breathing easily - both literally and figuratively. The R295's streamline design, minimal weight, and orthodontic silicone mouthpiece mean jaw fatigue and pain will be a thing of the past. Its streamline shape also means that drag is practically a thing of the past. Just as important as the R295's smooth diaphragm action is SCUBAPRO's guarantee of unsurpassed quality and workmanship.

This VIVA-patented system uses the power of a vacuum assist to reduce work of breathing and increase breathing comfort. It is diver-adjustable on all current SCUBAPRO second stages.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK2 Plus/R295 Regulator, DIN:

After much research, I bought five sets from leisure pro to replace my family's old dacors. I am an experienced diver with over 500 dives. I have personnally had the regulator below 180 feet and found the breathing effortless. While unbalanced, you will not notice an increase in effort until the tank pressure gets below 200 psi. Scubapro quality is great and you can get parts and service anywhere.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK2 Plus/R295 Regulator, DIN:

I reviewed this reg about two years ago when I first purchased it and had a few dives behind it. Now after two years and dozens of dives I can report this thing is rock solid! Check the magazine reviews and you'll see this rig performs right up there with regulators costing hundreds of dollars more. The simple and well engineered design is a huge plus.

I'm totally satisfied with the performance. I've got approx 12 dives on it this year and I've used it on wreck dives and wall dives to 118 feet. Good product. Especially, for the low price.

Scubapro equipment is the best on the market. I've been using Scubapro equipment for over 20 years, and it has never failed me. This new addition will be with me for a long time, too. I think it is the best value regulator on the market. LeisurePro price is the best. Ask for Aaron!

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK2 Plus/R295 Regulator, DIN:

After reading reviews in Scuba Diving Magazine I purchased this reg to replace an older high-performance Dacor Extreme Plus that had a balanced diaphragm first stage and pneumatically balanced second stage. This reg performs very well at depth and delivers plenty of air with a second diver breathing on an octo. Simple and lightweight design. Nitrox compatible out of the box. Only downside is no way to adjust the inhalation effort on a dive.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK2 Plus/R295 Regulator, DIN:

This is a really nice regulator for a great price. I have to admit, I stopped by the local dive shop which only sells scubapro and checked it out first. [...] Having tried a few other regs in my college dive class, I like this one best.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK2 Plus/R295 Regulator, DIN:

I used this reg in my open water class and invested in it as my first regulator. It's very comfortable and easy breathing at a good price for a Scubapro. Several of my friends have the same and also love it...
