MK 2 Plus 1'st Stage
This first stage epitomizes reliability and simplicity. Its standard piston design is ideal for divers who don't want to get bogged down with an overwhelming amount of bits and pieces, but still want the peace of mind that comes with a sound piece of equipment. This first stage is equipped with SCUBAPRO's Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which will keep your first stage functioning properly, even in frigid water. The MK2 has one high-pressure port and four low-pressure ports.

R190 Second Stage
The R190 regulator was designed with the serious sport diver in mind; it is rugged and requires very little maintenance. This second stage's downstream highly design is dependable and ready to work. The R190 also has the user-controlled Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assistant (VIVA). The VIVA system reduces the amount of effort divers expend when breathing; this patented technology is user-managed and is available on all current SCUBAPRO second stages the R190 combines a time-tested, fourth-generation downstream design with rugged construction and dependability.

Great regulator, at a very attractive price. this works better than the regulators i trained with, and better than my dive buddies $600 Sherwood. I would recommend this set up to anybody looking for quality at an affordable price. I am sure this will last for years.

This has to be one of the best regulators on the market. Simple design and inexpensive to have serviced. I had the hose moved to the left side to use with my pony bottle. Great feature.

it really is as the product description says - no frills, it just simply works. it does have certain comforts such as being balanced in the 1st stage and an adjustable 2nd stage, but that's where it ends. since it only has the 4 low pressure ports and the 1 high pressure, i can't recommend it for people who need a lot of air-powered accessories, but for your average diver, you can't go wrong

This is a very simple and effective first & second stage. I have 2 and have had no issues with either of mine. I use one for my main tank and one for my pony bottle. They are low cost and simple to clean and maintain. You won’t need anything more for recreational diving.

The first stage comes set up for Yoke. I’ve converted my main first stage to DIN and it works fine with my high pressure tank. The modification should be easy for your local dive shop, but make sure that you order the converter piece (part# 10044030) that is specifically made for the MK2. The converter that leisure recommends for the MK2 did not seal.

I believe in the KISS principle and this regulator is tried and true. I found it comfortable, easy to breath with in a variety fo conditions and depths. It has been very reliable and consistent on multiple dives.

I have used this combo on over 250 dives over an 11 year period with no service to either the first or second stage with zero problems. It has been on over 20 dives with 40 plus minutes of bottom time over 180ft with up to 45minutes of deco and it has performed well. Breathes as easy at the surface as at 185ft. I do not understand why you would need more.

The Scubapro MK2/R190 is probably the most reliable regulator on the market.. I have used this reg as my primary for 6 years now and just upgraded to an Apeks XTX-200 last week..

When I went thought my deep diving class years ago I was using this regulator and when we all reached the deep part of the quarry in the cold waters I watched 3 of the Atomic regulators freeflow like crazy while my Scubapro MK2/R190 worked perfectly..

If your looking for a low-cost regulator then this is the one to get no matter what kind of diving your doing.. Its craftsmanship is exceptional just as you would expect from a top of the line manufacturer like Scubapro
