MK25 First Stage
The MK25 first stage offers a machined, marine-grade chrome plated body and balanced composite/stainless steel piston that would make any diver proud. It demonstrates SCUBAPRO's dedication to quality and creating positive diving experiences. This first stage adapts to external pressure changes and comes standard with the Thermal Insulating System (TIS), which keeps your first stage from freezing up and malfunctioning in cold water conditions. The MK25 has two high-pressure ports and five low-pressure ports.

X650 Second Stage
The X650 is an unparalleled regulator for all types of dives and divers. Its features and design prove why this regulator has a corner on the diving market. It has a straight coaxial valve, a wider exhaust valve than others regulators, and requires 20% less effort when exhaling. The secret to the X650 is SCUBAPRO's ingenious idea to put the diaphragm and exhaust valve below the regulator's mouthpiece to reduce the chances of the diver experiencing jaw fatigue.

I have ussed this setup for a number of years and in many different dive senerios - this is a steady. reliable regulator system. Performs better than an Atomic I had previously used and alot easier to service and maintain.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK25/X650 Regulator:

This reg is simply superb in terms of it's flow characteristics. It is far superior to Atomic and other competitive regs in my opinion.
The only flaw is the purge which is no makor issue and quite trivial. I've used it in extreme conditions and it has never once let me down and delivers without skipping a beat.

Outstanding reg. Have had it for three years and used in all types of conditions. Love how it performs on deep dives. Reminds me of my old pilot regulator.. Outstanding..

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK25/X650 Regulator:

Not a bad regulator but it seems expensive given the performance. I've used many regulators with equal or better performance that cost significantly less. I have about 25 dives on this reg, with depths between 70-110ft.

I love ScubaPro in general however.

Comments about Scubapro Scubapro MK25/X650 Regulator:

No question about the MK25 first stage - its great - I've used it with a buddy breathing at 100m (300ft) and it works like a charm. The X650 is excellent too but has one small issue - it may let in water droplets when you are inverted (head down) especially if you do that by bending forward - You have to be prepared for that
