The first stage is a 300 bar/4350 PSI balanced construction. The diaphragm seals the first stage to protect it from foreign agents (such as sand) that could negatively affect its performance. It has two high-pressure ports (one each way) and four low-pressure ports. There are plenty of options that allow you to customize your equipment.
SECOND STAGE Poseidon's Jetstream/Odin offers incredibly easy breathing at all depths and guarantees you enough air, regardless of your breathing rate. The regulator can be served from both the left and right, regardless of its position in the water. Jetstream/Odin is the first choice for technical divers and professional divers . This regulator is also used by the US Navy.
All Poseidon regulators direct the exhalation bubbles to the sides, which gives You clear sight. The second stage can be used from the either side and independent of position in water.

This thing leaks/purges at the surface. This is normal according to the manufacturer.
Normal or not is was a bit unerving the first time I used it.
Otherwise a great regulator.

I sold many different regulators in my dive shop..I sold Oceanic,sherwood,Atomic,zeagle"apex days" ...I Love my Odin's and I rebuilt all of the above...I will never say anything bad about all manufacturers above,but my Odin is my lifes kiss,that I have trusted with my lifes breath..I will admit that the mouthpiece is large,and gives you a lot of air,but if you say hello by blowing air into your 2nd stage it stops crying..I think new subaquatic humans should think of simple techniques and kiss a regulator that is EXPENSIVE to rebuild,but one of a the best regulators that exist.......period.

Great reg, have 3. I've used Poseidon for 30+ years. Very few problems.
Cons: Parts are expensive and sometimes hard to get. Most dive shops do not cary the tools and parts to service this reg.

Causes a little jaw fatigue, but overall not that much...love the on off feature of this regulator very easy to breath from 30 feet to 90 feet
