The none-balanced First Stage Regulator has been the workhorse of the industry for years. Why? Its rugged, simplistic, dependable, low cost design lends itself for use as a primary, recreational, technical or DECO regulator. First-Stage is made of durable chrome plated brass and stainless Steel, has 3 LP and 1 HP ports. The Second-Stage is a dependable downstream demand valve design with a Venturi Adjustment Switch, made of corrosion and impact resistant plastic for long life and dependability. This Nitrox regulator canbe Oxygen cleaned and in fact was utilized by the National Park Service as a primary SCUBA regulator in its 190+ foot dive to the B-29 bomber in Lake Mead! This regulator now comes standard with (1) Frosted (1) Green (Oxygen) and (1) Yellow cover.

I have owned this regulator for several years and it has been trouble free and rugged. I use it primarily for my 50% and 100% O2 decompression bottles and it serves well and faithfully.

I am a Divemaster doing Tech/Deco dives. I got this reg as a deco bottle reg after researching the specs on lots of manufacturers. I was initially attracted by the low price but after diving with it I find that it is a great regulator.

Ive used this on 9 dives and primarily as a pony bottle reg. It has worked flawlessly and already comes with a short hose for deco or pony setups. I have also used this as a primary and it breaths easy and dry almost all the time(my max with it has been 100 feet). You may need a longer hose if you intend to use it as a primary though.
