Comments about Mares Mares Ranger 12 Regulator:

Got this regulator to use with a pony bottle because it was on the cheaper side. Its a very large regulator and causes some jaw fatigue. But for the price, can't ask for much more.

Comments about Mares Mares Ranger 12 Regulator:

This is a good, basic, entry-level regulator. It breathes easily and has a great price-point. However, any time the mouthpiece faces up towards the surface while out of your mouth, it will go into freeflow. Seeing how it is in my mouth 99% of the time, this was a minor issue. I would recommend to others, but only as a value-priced starter.

Comments about Mares Mares Ranger 12 Regulator:

Used this reg for 10 dives in cold water and no issues. Went down to 95ft, hit a thermocline of 5 degrees C, and breathed like I was 10ft down. Sucked my bottle down to 200psi and didn't have to struggle to get air. Great entry reg.

Comments about Mares Mares Ranger 12 Regulator:

Good regulator especially for the price. Did have a little jaw fatigue ,on third consecutive dive, from the hose pulling the regulator away from my mouth. Nothing major though. Very easy breather and like I said earlier for the money it doesnt get any better.
