Very very nice and good breathing! No freeflow at all. Only have 10 dives before I bye this. Have 16 dives with this regulator, and it feels so good! You got a lot of air from it :-)

Since day one I have had issues with the reg. free flowing. While I still have to see if it can be fixed, I can say that it is not easily fixed or adjusted as other more experienced divers have pointed out to me in attempts. Apparently other regs are far easier to take apart for cleaning and adjustments and this is a set back with this reg. especially since it free flows... I brought it to the attention of an instructor this past weekend who told me it is a common problem with the rebels, which is why his shop did not sell many... If you are having the item shipped I would not recommend it, but since it will be replaced if it is defective, by leisure pro, if the inconvienance of needing to exchange it if possible, is not as difficult (I'm in Australia), I would otherwise recommend it. It does not make my jaw hurt, is light, easy breathing...the free flow aside, I have only good things to say about it. For the price it would otherwise be good, just hope that you don't get a lemon.

Great regulator at an affordable price. I couldn't wait for summer and took it with me to a 100ft. dive last month when the temp was 65, and it was just so great! It's so easy to breath and adjust. I'm going to change the mouth piece though.

I am a PADI Instructor and I have bought this Mares MR12 Rebel Regulator as part of Leisurepro discounted package. I have ordered 7 of these Regulators so far this season for my students and still working so well. Even though lot of my students miss treats them; but they proved themselves in swimming pool as well as in open sea training.

Easy breathing regulator, a lot of plastic, so it's negatively buoyant. Doesn't breath as easily upside down. Not my favourite regulator, but i got this as a back-up and it is reliable, comfortable, a perfect, light-weight backup.
