A new generation regulator that sits at the top of the market due to its exceptional features.

The small size, combined with the use of sophisticated hi-tech polymers and various parts made from titanium, make it possible to keep the weight exceptionally low.

The regulator is technologically state-of-the-art, thanks to a series of new finds, patented, which highlight the performance. The following are patented: the fold-out opening of the casing, the special folding diaphragm, the computer designed lever, the tilting movement of the poppet, the seal between regulator valve and casing, the possibility of extracting the entire air supply system fromthe body of the 2nd stage. The result of all this technology is a regulator that supplies air with unheard of gentleness and fluidity. All of this with an excellent price/quality ratio.

1st stage

Ellipse Titanium comes with the MC7 diaphragm balanced first stage.

It is a very modern first stage, with very high performance, while being easy to maintain and very strong. The in line configuration with the air outlet from the tank guarantees very high performance, reducing drops in pressure to a minimum.

The MC7 first stage is hyper-balanced, guaranteeing a rise in the intermediate pressure when the air supply in the tank begins to drop. So the regulator provides maximum performance in the final stage of the dive, notoriously the most critical.

The MC7 model can be supplied with an antifreeze kit, which completely seals diaphragm and spring from contact with the water, making it suitable for use even in extreme conditions.

This regulator is amazing, effortless breathing. Completed the divers training with a different regulator and was a bit concerned but since my first dive with the Cressi-Sub Ellipse Titanium/MC7 Regulator, I don't even have to think about breathing. Flexible hose so you don't have to byte hard to keep the mouth piece in your mouth. Now you can focus more on enjoying the scenery.

i am very satisfied with this regulator, the only con is that leisure pro is not in a position to deliver a 2nd 1st stage neither the mc7 nor the mc5....that i find disapointing, as a 2nd 1st stage should be standard in cold water diving.
in actual fact, i would also dive with a 2nd 1st stage - pitty.

+My air consumption decreased slightly.
+Hoses connect to first stage nicely to save space in the dive bag.
+Two HP ports (one for future wireless meter).
-Purge button is small if you have big gloves.

I just returned from a 20 dive trip. This reg did great. Very solid and no difference in breathing over different depths. My only critique is that the Venturie really doesn't affect the airflow much. I like to be able to turn it up and have it virtually push air out of the reg if I want. It won't do that.

I was hesitant to buy this as I have been a fan of Scuba Pro. One review said this reg was noisy. They are right, though not so noisy it interferes with the dive.

A nice looking, yet lightweight reg system, liked the design and price.
Also the options of HP and LP ports for plenty of hoses.
Beats the larger round more common design.
Very happy with this unit and would recommend to all.

O)nce again, what can be said about LP service, ordered the unit and was shipped to Australia in less than 5 working days.
Fantastic response to emails and overall service is recommend.
Many other companies, especially here in Australia should take note of this service, it is the best.

I bought two of these from leisure pro, for myself and my wife. This regulator performs well and breathes easy. The balanced first stage works very well, the effort of breathing doesnt change from 3000 to 400 PSI. However both of our regulators make a loud wheezing sound underwater, which is not affected by switching first stage ports, or the external resistance control. The noise is annoying, and detracts from an otherwise fine regulator.

I just bought this for my wife it worked extremely well and was very easy to breath and use. Infact with all of our XTX 200's and T2's we had on the dives she came up on a couple of dives with a 1,000 psi more then everyone else. I liked the way it breathed so much I am purchasing another one for our daughter.

Very nice build quality with a low breathing effort. The only negative would be the mouthpiece. It is short and tends to twist easily so I replaced it with a longer mouthpiece. I'll need more time with the piece to check its performance in cold, deep water.
