Leave it to the people at Aqua Lung to improve regulators by leaps and bounds ona regular basis. The Mikron is another example of their tireless efforts toward making diving a safer and more comfortable sport for all water enthusiasts.
The Mikron is the smallest and lightest regulator available today. It is perfect for traveling divers, but reliable and sturdy enough to be used by the day-to-day diver, too. It weighs in at a mere 31 ounces. Because of its light weight, divers who are small in stature (specifically female and youth divers) will notice a lack of mouth fatigue once they start diving with the Mikron. Of course, its small size also frees up space in the traveling diver's gear bag!
Fear not, the Mikron's small stature does not mean reliability and durability have gone the way of the dodo bird. The ingenious and lightweight (5 oz.) braided hose offers the greatest flexibility and comfort available; it also lends to the Mikron's willingness to be packed in your gear bag.

I love, love, the size. Not to mention it is pretty. NO jaw fatigue, but the verdict is still out on the extra extended mouth piece. I might cut it out.

Extremely comfortable. Absolutely no jaw fatigue. Use on recent dive trip to Costa Rica....couldn't be more pleased.

There is nothing better! ZERO jaw fatigue....Its so light! My husband swore he would buy one and paint it black since his black Micron wasnt in stock the day we bought mine! You can not go wrong with this item.
