The Mikron is the smallest and lightest regulator available today. It is perfect for traveling divers, but reliable and sturdy enough to be used by the day-to-day diver, too. It weighs in at a mere 31 ounces. Because of its light weight, divers who are small in stature (specifically female and youth divers) will notice a lack of mouth fatigue once they start diving with the Mikron. I travel a lot with work and like to bring my dive and with airline penalties the way they are I wanted a light weight good regulator. I got exactly what I wanted in the Micron and then some. It is small light weight and compact, but this in no way inhibits breathing. I took wreck diving to 120 feet and no problems breathing at all. I took it drift diving and diving with long hard swims and still it performed great! There is no jaw fatigue and you hardly notice you have it in your mouth. Also there was no problems with bubbles on exhaling. The reg is also smaller and lighter than I thought it would be and it fits comfortably in my BCD bag. MY hats off to Aqualung. Outstanding regulator.

Small design is great if you have a smaller mouth - I did not have jaw fatigue like I have had with larger units - it fit and worked perfectly. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend!
