For the diver that wants performance but would rather not use a breathing control adjustment knob. Same first stage as the LX. The second stage is pneumatically balanced, which provides consistent inhalation effort at all depths and conditions. The venturi lever is large and easy to use, The compact, lightweight second stage virtually eliminates jaw fatigue. Comes with a Comfo-Bite mouthpiece, a standard spare mouthpiece and a reusable mouthpiece clamp. Specific to cold water diving, allowing it to surpass the stringent CE standard for cold water performance. Recommended for when the water temperature drops below 50F or 10C. A second stage lip shield keeps lips warm.

Auto-Closure Device (ACD): This new safety feature provided on inner fitting of Yoke and the DIN, keeps the 1st stage closed and protected from the environment immediately after being removed from cylinder valve, to prevent water and contaminants from entering inside the 1st stage, preserving the peak performance of your regulator and maintaining the internal lubrication for a longer period, adding peace of mind during rinsing transfer and storage, also making it safer for Nitrox use.

This regulator is a real good piece of equipment, very easy to breath and very comfortable. Underwater did not feel any breathing stress on the contrary. Have been using this equipment since them.

I have owned this regulator for over 125 dives and I have nothing but great things to say about it. I have had it in the cold dark waters of the Great Lakes to the warm clear water of the Caribbean and Pacific with no problems whatsoever. Have even swam against strong current, pushing a heavy drysuit and panting like a dog for over 30 minutes and could not "over breathe" this regulator...

Went down to about 90 feet with the Legend ACD Supreme in 49 degree waters, and the regulator performed brilliantly. I felt no difficulty in getting air out of the regulator. The lip shield definitely kept the area around my mouth warmer, and the mouthpiece was very comfortable. If you are diving in warmer waters, you can easily remove the lip shield.
