Comments about Aqualung AquaLung Legend LX Supreme Regulator:

So far, the Legend LX has been nearly 100% perfect. The conditions have ranged from 72 to 86 degrees, and down to 120 fsw. The flow rate has always been adequate or better. Little turbulence at any attitude and the comfort level has been fine, even after a few shallow extended dives during the same afternoon. The reg always breathes dry, even completely inverted. The adjustment knobs are large and easy to use & set, but they do not alter the performance significantly. Small adjustments are not really noticeable, unless you are really monitoring your breathing effort.

The only negative comment that I have is that at or near the surface, inverted, the breathing effort increases a bit. Not enough to be a concern, but definitely noticeable. This is not noticeable at the safety stop, but more in the first 0-3 feet.

No reg is going to be perfect, but the LX has performed as expected (or better) through 50+ dives.

Comments about Aqualung AquaLung Legend LX Supreme Regulator:

I own this amazing regulator, breathing has never been easier - it is consistently tested as the best breathing reg out there - "Supreme" designates this as Cold Water (resists freezing) though it's just as happy in the tropics. I dive it in Monterey (Cold) and Hawaii (Hot). It's important to note that this is the old version, the only difference I know of is newer ones have ACD is the name, which is the addition of a first stage self-closing mechanism for rinsing with peace of mind.
