Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
This is by far one of the best regulators that I have had. The regulator is extremly adjustable and is sealed. I was able to get a secure Pro II mouth piece on it with some searching. It is worth the money.

This is a great regulator, it breaths effortless at any depth.
Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
Bought this on the recommendation of my instructor. Included hose is a little long for my tastes but that doesnt take away from the fact that this one nice reg/first stage. During the last dive of my OW class my instructor took my primary and switched to my backup. We both pulled air as hard as we could and neither of us could tell that we were sharing air. I got the 360 swivel installed from LP and don't regret it, makes moving my head around very easy.
Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
This reg Is just as effortless to draw from at the 10 feet as it is at 120 feet.
Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
i bought these excellant regs for deep technical diving, the first stages are very neat on twin cylinders and they breathe so well you have to try it, the second stage is easy to dissasemble for good cleaning and the sealed first means lots of reliability. top choice.

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
This is an excellent regulator and replaces the Scuba Pro Mk10/G250 that I dived with for more than 17 years [BTW I still have the G250] It is an easy breather at all depths and positions (I have taken it to 55M) It has 2 HP ports and 4 LP ports all well located. It is easily adjustable and has a pre dive setting to prevent free flows on the surface. The latest model (one up from this)even has a device on the 1st stage which tells you if it is functioning optimally and tells you when the reg needs servicing! It is a bit heavy but unless you can afford titanium than this is the best you are going to get. It also comes with 2 exhaust fittings, one short and the other extended for photographers, to push the bubbles away from their face.

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
This is by far the best regulator I have ever owned in 20 years. As stated in other reviews the deeper you go the better it breathes. I have only had it on 60 dives but it is by far the best performing of the lot. Would like to have the swivel joint but that's not hypercritical. The adjustable resistance and the changeable exhausts are great for photography. The only con that I have is I don't own a second one. How much is your safety and security worth at 90M? If you are going to spend money on gear this is a great combination of quality and price.

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
I can still remember my open water course 8 years ago, we were giving our regs for the first time, they were bottom of the range scuba pro, great i thought, when i dipped my head under for the first time i was happy as a pig in [...], wow they work. Then to the sea we went I could not believe I sucked on that second stage until I thought I will choke on it,the little sucker was not giving me enough air! When it came time to buy, i naturally steered clear of anything "scupapro"I tried Mares, Aqualung and Ocianic, I went for Zeagle, ZX DSIV, much better, i've had them things down to 70 meters, performance ,great.. Until I went to upgrade, I thought i would go Apex, well if thought the Zeagle was good, the Apex made it look second rate. The Apex breathed better the deeper it got, at 70 meters the breathing was effortless.I liked them so much, I got a set of XTX100 as my spare set.

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
From SEAL team to Sub-Arctic diving, you can't buy a better reg. This system, built by the British who are used to diving in the unforgiving, frigid North Sea have outdone themselves with this one.
Spend more if that's your thing, but Apeks is the BEST out there - bar none. My 36 years of diving experience says so!

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
The most important piece of equipment you will ever buy is your reg.
I use the XTX200 with the XTX40 Octo and I know that I can count on my rig to deliver when I need it most. This is an easy breathing reg that is adjustable on the fly, and this setup is NOT prone to free flow.
I would not trade in my APEKS for anything.

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
I've been diving for 25 years and always liked ScubaPro regulators, that was until I tried an Apeks xtx50. I was so impressed with the rig I ended up buying Apeks's flagship model the Tungsten XTX with hose swivel. (Same as the XTX200 with a different coating & swivel). It is easily the best breathing rig I have ever owned. I dive in different temps that range from 49Deg - 80deg and so far, in cold water the environmentally sealed rig has performed flawlessly. The swivel hose and changeable exhaust, make the 2nd stage one of the most comfortable I have ever held in my mouth. The only other rig that was as comfortable was the Atomic T2, which sells for [$]. In my opinion The XTX200 is the Best Rig on the market, Dollar for Dollar.

Comments about Apeks Apeks XTX200 Regulator:
Before i bought the xtx200, i have used some regulators that made me think twice about diving.some regs simply don't deliver air with ease. but since i used the xtx200, i have enjoyed my dives knowing that i have a reg that will pamper me, give me as much air as i want , when and where i want it to. I am very pleased. I read somewhere that this is one reg that will bring you to hell and back!
